I am assuming here but it should be: if I remember correctly detachments aren’t a seperate unit it would count as your 1 ranged unit. Woodelves are a much harder thing to diagnose.
Well no worries on the treeman. If the points restriction didnt rule him out of the wound per model restriction certainly would. I think the larger question though is a valid one Re shooting…if a unit has a shooting attack it counts as a shooting unit…as far as points go I dont think the size of the unit matters (so long as core-special-rare…[Read more]
The 1 shooting unit is a little tough to manage for Wood Elves and Empire, but I say, lets see how it goes. For my part, because of the limits, my Skaven army is going to look something like 25% heroes, 75% core! Not knowing the mind of the organizer, I think that they were trying to avoid some of the more crazy army builds.
