I will be glad to discuss things in person. I will post publicly that there have been very strong, reliable rumors for quite some time that an Eldar Codex is due to release in June, and I have gotten an official email with June's release information, the contents of which I'm not supposed to divulge. :)

I'm running a Warhammer 40k Capture the Flag event at Bayou Wars on Saturday, June 8 from 7pm to 11pm. 200 points, no FOC, team play. You can drop in or out at any time; you'll be assigned to the team with the fewest players. You can even play multiple times if you get wiped out.

Each flag is treated as a Relic, and scored by moving it onto your team's flag stand (your flag need not be present). There are no other points. Warlords will not be used. We'll do multiple games with normal round limits.

Basically, it's a very casual event to make it easy to play for a while and still enjoy the rest of the con.

I'll have a sign-up sheet in the store this week. Tentative date is Saturday, July 27. The basic plan is two teams, somewhere around 10-15k points per team. Full Apocalypse rules in effect, which means no FOC, Imperial Armour books in play, all the craziness. We'll pre-plan basically everything, including team meetings to plan armies.

This will be an all day, and I mean ALL DAY, event. We start early, we end late. We'll have lunch and probably dinner while we play. If that sounds like a great way to spend a Saturday, fill out the sign-up sheet with your name, email, army of choice, and how many points you'd like to field. I'll get everyone in touch by email.
