Warhammer 40k 2 weeks, 4 days agoI’m also pretty new to Warhammer 40k, along with Fizban (I’m his buddy). However, I’m trying to build up a Tyranid army instead. If anyone has any advice to give, I’ll be glad to hear it. I’ve gone ahead and studied into the units a lot to understand what I’m getting myself into, as far as I could without general knowledge of the exact rules.

Warhammer 40k 2 weeks, 6 days agoI see that there is a painting workshop on the 25th of this month. That day is also the 25th birthday of 40K. I was curious if any would also like to play a 40K game that day as well to celebrate? If this is possible we have a few weeks to get the times right.

I will be there. I will bring my Orks. My army ranges from simple troops to forge world heavy units. We can decide what type of battle we will play and I will pack accordingly.

I’d say I wouldn’t mind at all, within reason…if you show up with a bunch of cheap plastic zombies and expect me to see all Grey Knights..well, that wouldn’t work for me.

Well the example that I have in mind is the Necron Night Sythe being subed with an Eldar Wave Serpent being they are aprox the right size and are the closest looking model with out having to cut up and destroy a perfectly good model lol.

As far as general just for fun play I do not see a problem with subs on models that GW does not make. With little effort a regular mini can easily become a named character. However in any case as long as it looks different than all your other squads and can easily be identified I doubt most people in friendly games would care.

What do you want or the whole thing? Any SOB infantry or other models as well? Are they painted and if so, do you have pics?

The repressor I would call painted its white with red faith writings on it the exorcist are basically primed black with some metal drybrushing and the exorcist are black and red it wouldn’t take much at all to call them painted for a tourney. I’ll see if I have time later to take pictures. Oh and probably around $200 for all 7 vehicles.

I will reschedule my trip down on Feb 25th to the 3rd to make this event. Look forward to seeing you guys there.
Haven’t been able to model/play 40K in a while, but I’m trying to get back into, so I’ll try and make this tourny.
I get married the 10th, so if my better half feels like everything is good to go with planning and packing, I’ll show you heretics how we roll on Titan.
