Magic 2013 releases Friday, July 13! We’re holding a Launch Party on Saturday, July 14 to break in the new set! Sealed-deck tournament starts at 1pm, $25 entry, and tons of prizes! 

Tournament

We open packs at 1pm sharp, so get registered before then. This is a Swiss-style tournament, which means everyone plays in all the initial rounds (usually 5-6 rounds). From there we’ll cut to a top 8 who will play off for the prizes!

Prizes are based on number of entrants. If we get at least 30 players, first place wins a box!

Sealed Format

The Sealed Deck format allows players to use the Magic tournament packs they’re already buying to play games in a casual or tournament setting. Players simply open their tournament packs and the cards from up to three additional booster packs and build a deck from the cards they opened. Guidelines require a minimum deck size of 40 cards and allow players to add as many basic lands (Plains, Islands, Swamps, Mountains, and Forests) to their card pools as they like.
