Terrain Day

We’re gearing up for Volunteer Work Day 3: Terrain Day. Bring your crafting skills (or willingness to follow directions). We’ll make a bunch of basic terrain for store usage, based on methods from a few of our biggest helpers. Lunch is on us.

So Much Flocking Terrain…

We’ve had a few terrain-making techniques suggested, and we’re picking all of the above. Volunteers will work in teams assembly-line style to cut, shape, texture and paint an assortment of hills, trees, low walls, rubble piles, etc. Most of the crafting takes minimal skill, and a willingness to trade snarky comments and hilarious stories with other gamers.

But Wait! There’s More

We also haven’t finished painting our table tops, so that’ll need doing, too. That involves rolling on a base coat, then dry-brushing on a highlight color. None too complicated.

What To Do

First, fill out the form below so we can get a head-count for lunch and work-planning. On Saturday, just bring yourself in some painting clothes. Also, make a pit stop before coming since we still don’t have toilets.

We’ll provide lunch for everyone, along with drinks and snacks throughout the day. The place is air-conditioned, and we even have floors!
