Should We Tweet?

We’ve got a new poll about Twitter. Allie and I do not currently tweet, but we understand a lot of folks do. We want to know if it would be valuable to you folks for +1 Gaming to use Twitter or not.

For the comments: if we tweeted, what sorts of tweets would you like to see?

Should +1 Gaming Tweet?
  • I don't really use Twitter. (45%, 17 Votes)
  • Please, don't. (24%, 9 Votes)
  • Unequivocally, yes! (13%, 5 Votes)
  • Sure, I'd like it. (11%, 4 Votes)
  • Either way. (8%, 3 Votes)

I don’t really wanna start drama here, but why would you ever vote please don’t? If you don’t like and/or use twitter you would never even know if they’re doing it. It just seems like unnecessary hating on something that would be convenient for others.

Strong opinions only cause drama when take them personally. We’ve all got a lot of chillin out to do.

We really want to know what everyone thinks. So don’t nobody go and vote “Please, don’t” just for the lulz. ;)

If the twitter feed had actual useful information I’d definitely follow it… stuff like, “New Releases just came off the truck,” “Just sold out of [hot ticket item],” “X# of spots remaining for tournament, c’mon down.” That sort of stuff. If it was mainly navel gazing type stuff, I’d probably pass.

The good news is, Allie and I don’t use Twitter. We wouldn’t really know how to navel-gaze. It’d all be stuff like what you just mentioned, mini-announcements that aren’t quite worth posting on the website or Facebook.

You can Update Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, Google Buzz and Foursquare.

Makes it less of a hassle and you can hit all your bases at once.
